Reinforced Terramesh for Green Retaining Walls and Reinforced Earth Slopes

Reinforced Terramesh integrates a gabion facing, soil reinforcement mesh, and backfill into one retaining system. It creates a stable front face while extending reinforcement into the embankment or slope body.

The system is used for roads, railways, riverbanks, and land development sites where retaining height, drainage, and landscape recovery must be considered together. Facing depth, reinforcement length, mesh type, and coating are selected by design load.

Product Advantages
  • Facing reinforcement: Designed around facing reinforcement to match key engineering needs more directly.
  • Ecological permeability: Stone-filled or open mesh structure supports drainage, pressure release, and ecological recovery.
  • Flexible installation: Can be assembled and connected on site according to terrain, bank line, or design requirements.
  • Custom specifications: Size, material, surface treatment, and accessories can be adjusted by drawings or project requirements.
  • Easy maintenance: Clear structure supports later inspection, local replacement, and routine maintenance.
Structure

Reinforced Terramesh consists of an ecological facing unit connected to a continuous reinforcement mesh panel. The front forms a low-height stone-filled facing, while the rear mesh extends into the backfill, combining slope protection, drainage, and soil reinforcement in one system.

Working Principle

Reinforced Terramesh protects the slope face with a stone-filled front unit while the rear mesh reinforces the backfill. The facing drains and resists erosion, and friction between soil and reinforcement provides tensile stability, making it suitable for ecological retaining walls and reinforced soil slopes.
